Ein Kuschelsonntag mit Hautpflege

Im Winter kann die Haut gar nicht genug Pflege haben und weil man sowieso mehr Zeit drinnen mit Kuscheln und Rumlümmeln verbringt… hat man auch mehr Zeit sich ausgiebig was Gutes zu tun. Das fängt damit an, dass man super leckere Plätzchen verdrückt. Im besten Fall hat die sogar noch jemand anders gebacken. Bei mir war das meine Schwiegermutter, die das sowieso viel besser kann als ich und bei meinen Kindern die unangefochtene Plätzchenkönigin ist. Außerdem gibt es noch ganz feine und mächtige Elisenlebkuchen, die mir ein Kollege aus einer speziellen Bäckerei mitgebracht hat. Eigentlich ist man satt, wenn man da einen verdrückt hat, weil die echt mächtig sind. Doch wenn was so gut schmeckt, dann ist „sich beherrschen können“ nicht gerade meine große Stärke und ich glaube, der Advent ist sowieso der völlig falsche Zeitraum, um sich zu beherrschen.

A toasty Sunday with skin care

In winter the skin can’t get enough care and because you spend more time indoors cuddled up and hanging around ….you have ample time to do something good for yourself.  That begins with polishing off some really delicious cookies.  At best, someone else does the baking.  In my case it was my mother-in-law who, in any event, can do that much better than I can and in my children’s eyes is the undisputed cookie queen.  As well as that there are these beautiful and rich Elisen gingerbread biscuits which my colleague brought me from a special bakery.  Actually you’re full when you’ve eaten one of them because they really are very rich.  However if something tastes so good then “controlling myself” really isn’t one of my strengths and I believe, anyhow, that advent is the wrong time to keep oneself under control.

Hautpflege vor’m TV

Dann hänge ich während dieser Jahreszeit furchtbar gerne mit den Kindern vor der Glotze und schaue so tolle Filme, wie „Drei Haselnüsse für Aschenbrödel“ und das „Wunder von Manhatten“ oder „Schöne Bescherung“. Alles wunderbare Familienfilme… Leider ist unsere Couch viel zu klein für uns alle, weshalb ich echt gefühlte 100 Kissen besorgt habe, damit sich jeder ein kuscheliges Plätzchen backen äh einrichten kann. Trotzdem wird nächstes Jahr ein neues Sofa fällig…. irgendwie werden die Kinder immer größer – ich weiß auch nicht … da ist irgendwas im Gange. Aber ich komm schon noch dahinter! Und während ich so schmatze und glotze, kann vorzüglich eine Maske ihren Dienst tun. Mein kleiner Sohn versteht das falsch und trägt dann eine Darth Vader oder ein Strumtruppler-Maske. Die meine ich aber natürlich nicht, weil wir erinnern uns: Es geht um Hautpflege und einem Lieblingsprodukt von Clarins, das eigentlich gar keine Maske ist und normalerweise verwende ich den Beauty Flash Balm auch nicht als Maske.

Skin care in front of the TV

During this season I love to sit in front of the TV with the children and watch some great films e.g. “Three wishes for Cinderella”, “Miracle on 34^th Street” or “National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation”.  All three are great family films…. Unfortunately our couch is much too small for us all which is why I have got round about 100 cushions so that each of us can have a cuddly place for himself.  Nevertheless a new sofa is definitely due next year….somehow the children always seem to be getting bigger- I don’t know…..there’s definitely something afoot.  But I’ll find out what it is!  And while I am smacking my lips and watching TV, a mask can do its job splendidly.  My small son doesn’t understand me correctly and goes and puts on his Darth Vader or his Stormtrooper mask.  Of course I don’t mean these types of masks because if you can remember: We’re talking about skincare and a favourite product from Clarins which really isn’t a mask and I usually don’t use the Beauty Flash Balm as a mask.

20 Jahre jünger – ganz bestimmt

Dieses Frischewunder von Clarins kommt nach der Tagespflege, vor dem Make up zum Einsatz. Wenn ich so gaaaaanz besonders toll aussehen möchte – also irgendwie immer eigentlich 😉 Aber das Gemeine an dieser Wunderfrische ist, dass sie sich abnutzt und man sie eben nicht so häufig auftragen sollte… Aber so einmal in der Woche, wirkt der Beauty Flash Balm Wunder… Wenn man z. B. zu lange gefeiert hat und am nächsten Tag nicht ganz „derhaut“ aussehen möchte 😉 Also nicht, dass irgendjemand zu lange und zu ausgiebig feiern würde… Schließlich wissen wir ja, dass wir um 20 Uhr ins Bett gehen und täglich 3 Liter stilles Wasser trinken müssen. Ich meine ja auch nur falls, also nur falls das mal nicht so geklappt hat – dann kommt der Schönheitsbalsam von Clarins wirklich wie gerufen… 🙂 und einmal im Monat genieße ich eine Maske mit diesem Wundermittel und ich schwöre Euch, danach schaut Ihr total entspannt und 20 Jahre jünger aus. Ok… vielleicht nicht ganz… aber Ihr wisst ja, Einbildung ist alles!!! 😉 😉 Die Wimperntusche, die Handcreme und den Lippenbalsam habe ich nur dazu gestellt, weil sie in dem Täschchen waren, das mein Mann mir aus dem Duty Free Shop mitgebracht hat. Die Handcreme mag ich, die ist toll. Über die anderen beiden Sachen kann ich noch nichts schreiben – das kommt bestimmt ein anderes Mal…

So und nun werde ich ganz beseelt davon träumen, wie ich mit meinen Kindern am Sonntag auf dem Sofa lümmle, während ich in Wirklichkeit ganz brav auf meinem Bürostühlchen sitze… Ich wünsche Euch wunderbare Tagträume und rauschende Weihnachtsfeiern, weil für danach gibts ja Beauty Flash Balm… 🙂 Habt ne schöne Woche – Ihr lieben…. <3

Twenty years younger – definitely

This wonder for freshness from Clarins is put on after your moisturizing cream and before your make-up.  When I want to look reeeeeeeeally good – somehow all the time 😉  But the disadvantage of this wonder for freshness is that it wears off and you shouldn’t apply it so often….. But once a week the Beauty Flash Balm works a miracle …. If, for example, you’ve celebrated too long and don’t want to look like “death warmed up” the next day 😉  Now not that any of you would party too long or too much… After all we all know we should go to bed at 8pm and that we should drink 3 litres of water every day.  I mean, just in case, just in case that doesn’t work – then the beauty balm from Clarins comes right on cue … 🙂 and once a month I enjoy a mask with this miracle cure and I swear to you….. afterwards you look totally relaxed and 20 years younger.  OK … maybe not completely….but you know imagination is everything 😉 ;-).  I just put the mascara, the hand cream and the lip balm there because they were in the bag which my husband brought me from the Duty Free Shop.  I really like this hand cream…..it’s great.  I can’t write anything about the other two things yet – but that’ll definitely come another time……

So and now I’ll animatedly dream about how I will lounge on the sofa with my children on Sunday whereas in the meantime I will sit like a good girl on my office chair ….
